KNOXVILLE — The Tennessee Grow Your Own Center has officially launched its new strategic plan, “Tennessee Grown: Developing Educators for Tomorrow’s Classroom.” This comprehensive plan, developed over the course of a year with input from over 300 stakeholders, outlines key goals and strategies aimed at expanding educator pipelines, fostering partnerships and addressing the state’s workforce development needs.
The strategic plan focuses on five core goals, including championing the Grow Your Own initiative, cultivating a robust mentor network and expanding apprenticeship pathways across Tennessee.
